Clear answers on the L1A risk score, the API, and where we're headed.

What is L1A Risk™? L1A Risk is a farm-level scoring system that analyzes climate, crop, operational, and market risks to generate a single, actionable number. Think of it as a risk score that reflects real, evolving farm conditions—like a credit score, but for agricultural resilience.

Is L1A an insurance company? No. We're a risk-data company. We don't underwrite policies — we produce the risk intelligence that lenders, insurers, platforms, and smart contracts build on. Insurance is one of the industries we serve, and where our engine earned its early validation.

Who uses the L1A risk score? Lenders pricing ag loans, insurers selecting and pricing risk, ag platforms embedding risk intelligence — and soon, smart contracts and autonomous agents reading it on-chain.

What is the Chainlink integration? Chainlink is how the score reaches its buyers. We publish L1A Risk™ once, to the Chainlink network. Smart contracts read it on-chain. Platforms and institutions can pull it as a standard API feed - a signed report from Chainlink, fetched on their own side, with nothing of ours installed in their systems. And banks and insurers can receive it inside the Swift and ISO 20022 messages they already run. One publication, no separate integrations.

How is L1A different from other ag data providers? Most ag data is raw or backward-looking. L1A Risk™ is a single decision-ready score, computed at parcel level, that works even where data is sparse, and it's published once, to Chainlink - so the same score serves platforms by API, smart contracts on-chain, and traditional institutions inside their existing messages.

Can L1A Risk™ be used in areas with limited farm data? Yes. L1A Risk was specifically designed to operate in data-scarce environments. It uses proxy indicators and machine learning to generate reliable scores even where yield histories or detailed farm records are missing.

How frequently is the score updated? L1A Risk Scores updates its risk scores frequently—tracking trends over time, not just snapshots. This temporal insight allows users to spot early warning signs and act proactively.

Do you work with farmers directly? Our customers are the institutions that serve farmers — lenders, insurers, and platforms. Better risk intelligence upstream means better products downstream.
